Prophet (saws) provided very detailed education about every aspect of life to his companions, including married life. We need to review these teachings and are more in need of them than ever before. This education is just on step in the right direction to combat rising divorce rates and marital discord. The main objective of prep is to equip couples with essential premarital knowledge to increase chances of a successful marriage. The factors leading to marital breakdown may be varied and many-faceted, but there is an increasing awareness that good preparation in the form of premarital counseling can provide a better foundation for marriages.

Sh. Said Rageah

Sheikh Saeed Rageah was born in Somalia, raised in Saudi Arabia and in the late 80s found his way to North America.

He holds a B.A in Islamic studies as well as a Masters in Shariah from the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Sciences in Fairfax, Virginia.
He has had several posts over the years, including (but not limited to): founder of Masjid Huda in Montreal and Masjid Aya in Maryland, advisor for Muslim Youth magazine, and member in the Aqsa Association. He is also the founder of both Muslim Magazine and Al Aqsa Association. Furthermore he was a Chaplain at both the University of Calgary and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Currently, he serves as Imam at the Abu Hurairah Mosque in Toronto and Chairman for the Journey of Faith Conference.
He teaches and travels for AlMaghrib Institute and he also holds the post of Chairman for the Journey of Faith conference.
